What We’re Seeking
We are building a small, values-driven team to help movements and civil society organisations access the infrastructure they need to do long-term work. If you are excited about the mission and can do much of what’s described in any of the roles below, please apply. You do not need to meet 100% of the criteria to be considered.

Hiring at The Home Fund
Step One: Application and CV review
We review every application we receive, as well as candidates referred or proactively sourced. We look for evidence of the skills and judgment needed for the role, and we aim to assess each candidate fairly and consistently.
Step Two: Screening call
Shortlisted candidates will have a 20 to 30-minute conversation with our team. This is a chance for us to learn more about your experience and motivations, and for you to ask questions about the role, responsibilities, and ways of working.
Step Three: Technical assessment
Candidates who progress will complete a short, role-relevant assessment. It is designed to reflect the kind of work you would do in the role and to give you space to show how you think, not just what you have done.
Step Four: Panel interview
Next is a structured panel interview with 2 to 3 team members. The interview is consistent across candidates, with the same evaluation areas and scoring rubric. We look for clarity, practical thinking, collaboration, and alignment with our mission and the realities of an early-stage organisation.
Step Five: Final interview
Finalists meet with our Executive Director for a deeper conversation about leadership approach, working style, and what you would prioritise in the first months.
Step Six: References and offer
Before an offer, we conduct reference checks. If everything aligns, we move to an offer and share the full compensation details so you can make a confident decision.
